Registration will only be processed when the relevant registration fee is received. There will be limited places for the pre-congress workshops. Please register earlier as places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
Registration Entitlements
Confirmed registrant will receive a registration confirmation before the Congress. Registered participants are offered the following:
- Attendance to all sessions from 8 to 10 November 2024
- Entrance to poster and exhibition area
- Light refreshments during coffee breaks as indicated in the programme
- Name badge, programme book and certificate of attendance
- Invitation to Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception and Closing Ceremony
- Eligibility to register for the pre-congress workshops
Accompanying Persons
- One full-paying delegate can register up to one accompanying person via the Congress registration system.
- The accompanying person is limited to a spouse, partner, or child aged 19 and over.
- The fee for an accompanying person does not include admission to the sessions. The accompanying person will be entitled to attend only:
- Opening Ceremony
- Welcome Reception
- Closing Ceremony
Payment Methods
Payment can be made
- Credit cards (Visa or Master cards); or
- Local Cheques or Bank Drafts, payable to Hong Kong Thoracic Society Limited-APSR
Cancellation and Refund
- Cancellation of the registration and refund of the registration fee are possible. Refund requests must meet the following criteria to be processed:
- Deadline for refund request: 7 October 2024 (23:59 pm HKT/UTC+8)
- Notification of cancellation must be made by email to the APSR 2024 Hong Kong Congress Secretariat no later than the deadline indicated: registration@apsr2024.hk
- An administrative fee equivalent to 25% of the total amount paid will be deducted from the amount to be reimbursed.
- If bank charges apply, they will be deducted from the refunded amount.
- No refunds will be made for the request of the cancellations received after the deadline indicated.
- Should a delegate not attend the congress, for whatever reason, no further claims for reimbursement or waiving of fees can be made.
- All registrations are strictly personal: replacements or name changes are not possible.
- If the wrong fee has been selected during the registration process, no reimbursement can be applied.
